Match Format

• Two 12-minute halves

• 2-minute halftime

• Regular kickoffs after goals

• No goalkeepers

• No offside

• No heading

• No sliding

Scoring & Field Rules

• Goals cannot be scored from the defensive half

• The goal box is restricted:

  • No player may touch the ball while they or the ball are inside the goal box, except on initial goal kicks

  • Offensive touch in the box = goal kick

  • Defensive touch in the box = automatic goal

  • If the ball stops in the goal box, a goal kick is awarded regardless of last touch

Restarts & Ball In/Out of Play

• All free kicks, kick-ins, and goal kicks are indirect

  • Exception: penalty kicks

• 4-second restart once the ball is placed

• Defenders must be 10 feet (approx. 3 steps) from the ball on all restarts

• Free kicks near the goal box are placed at least 10 feet outside the box

• If the ball goes out over the wall, the opposing team receives a kick-in from the spot it exited

• If the ball becomes wedged:

  • Possessing team restarts from the spot

  • Intentionally wedging the ball results in a free kick for the opponent

Fouls & Penalties

• Shoulder-to-shoulder contact is not allowed near the walls

• Any push or shove into the walls results in a foul

• Major goal-scoring fouls (handball, slide, or foul denying a goal) result in a midfield open-goal penalty kick

• Ball is live immediately once the penalty kick is taken

Substitutions

• Roll-on, roll-off substitutions

• Substitutes may enter only after the exiting player has left the field

• Play is not stopped for substitutions

Suspensions

• Dangerous or reckless fouls may result in a mandatory substitution for the remainder of the game, at the referee’s discretion

Protests

• No protests will be allowed

​​
