OVERVIEW
The Pre-Academy Phase at Xtra Soccer Academy builds upon earlier development while introducing more advanced technical skills and a deeper understanding of the game. Players in this stage refine ball control, improve tactical awareness, and begin experiencing competitive environments. This phase emphasizes both individual growth and early team concepts.

Expanded Ball Mastery: Enhancing dribbling, passing, and receiving for greater control and confidence.

Individual Technical Training: Footwork, ball control, and precision-based skill development.

Competitive Games: Small-sided games to improve decision-making and game awareness.

1v1, 2v2, 3v3 Scenarios: Fast-paced challenges that encourage quick thinking under pressure.

Limited Tactical Training: Intro to positioning and off-ball movement to build tactical foundations.

Listening, Concentration & Behavior: Reinforcing discipline, focus, and maturity.

Player Evaluations: Tracking growth and identifying areas for improvement.
The Pre-Academy prepares players for more complex challenges in the Academy phase and beyond.

Team Program
(Training, Development, Pricing)
Training: Two practices per week during Fall & Spring. One practice per week during Winter.
League: NYSL Fall & Spring included, with optional Winter League.
Tournaments: 2–3 each Fall & Spring, with Winter options.
Included: Fall Academy Camp, Techne Training App access, LeagueApps communication, and 50% discount on Camps & Programs.
Obligated Team Fees: Obligated team fees include Fall and Spring team tournament fees and uniforms.
Optional Team Fees: Optional team fees apply to Winter League play and Winter tournaments conducted between November 1 and March 1. Players are not required to participate in Winter league or tournament play.
Team Structure: U8 teams will be designated as Gold and White teams.
U9 and U10 teams will be designated as N1L and White teams
