PRE-ACADEMY
9v9 (U11-U12)

The Pre-Academy phase 9v9 (U11-U12) at Xtra Soccer Academy marks an important step as players move into more advanced levels of training, both technically and tactically. At this stage, players are ready to develop a deeper understanding of the game, refine their individual skills, and enhance their ability to work within a team. Our focus is on introducing more game-related practices and increasing tactical awareness, preparing players for the challenges they'll face at the Academy level.

Our key focuses during the Pre-Academy Phase include:

• Intermediate technical development: Fine-tuning ball control, passing, and shooting techniques to increase precision and confidence on the ball.
   

• Game-related practices: Implementing drills and activities that mimic real-game situations, allowing players to apply their skills in dynamic, competitive environments.
   

• Increased tactical training: Introducing more complex concepts such as positioning, game awareness, and decision-making to help players understand how to read the game and respond to various situations.
   

• Competitive games: Increasing the level of competition through more structured match play to develop resilience, mental toughness, and a competitive spirit.
   

• Being a good teammate: Emphasizing teamwork, communication, and support for teammates, both on and off the field.
   

• Expanded 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 scenarios: Challenging players with more advanced small-sided game situations to further develop their individual and team skills under pressure.
   

The Pre-Academy phase is designed to help players sharpen their skills and grow their tactical understanding, all while preparing them for the demands of the Academy Level. This phase sets the stage for players to transition smoothly into the more competitive, higher-level play that lies ahead.

Club Teams: Training, Development, Pricing:

Gold Teams

• Training : Two practice sessions per week during Fall, Winter & Spring.

• League: Nebraska Youth Soccer League (NYSL) Fall & Spring, with additional Winter League play.

• Tournaments: 2-3 per Fall & Spring, with additional Winter tournaments available.

• Access to Team communication through “LeagueApps”

• 50% Membership discount to Camps and Programs

Cost: Gold Team:$1599 (plus team fees)

Team Fees: Tournament costs, uniform costs, and additional indoor training, including Futsal (all teams get one indoor session per week throughout the Winter period from Nov 1 - March 1).

White Teams

• Training :Two practice sessions per week during Fall & Spring; one practice per week during Winter.

• League: Nebraska Youth Soccer League (NYSL) Fall & Spring, with additional Winter League play.
